Making Lanterns

We have been learning about the Chinese New Year holiday. One part of the celebration of Chinese New Year's is a lantern festival. Today we all got to make a lantern and decorate it with Chinese characters. We had a lot of fun doing this. Enjoy the pictures below.

We have a math test tomorrow. Have your child practice counting collections of coins, writing 2 digit numbers, telling time to the quarter hour, using a Frames and Arrows diagram and doing basic addition problems.
