Notes from Ms. Cate's Presentation

Quite by accident, we found Delanie's notes from Ms. Cate's presentation. We didn't ask the crew to take notes. Delanie just took the initiative and did this on her own. These are the moments that melt a teacher's heart and this one definitely melted Cate's heart and my heart. We are so glad that we found these notes. I will translate them for you:

No rules - this was referring to lack of traffic rules

zebra vs zeebra - we say zeebra and Ms. Cate says zebra (with a short e)

pot of food - the electricity goes out regularly in South Africa so people often go to a special restaurant that cooks a big pot of food over a fire. It is a very nice restaurant.

different songs - while they have many of the same songs in South Africa that we listen to, they also have some different songs

Nelson - this was Nelson Mandela

bead work - Cate share some necklaces from South Africa with lots of bead work on them
