Ms. Jenni

Today, Ms. Jenni, our speech therapist, came in to do a lesson about sounds that letters make and the correct way to make them. This lesson ties together our reading, writing, listening and speaking skills and it was a lot of fun, too. Thanks, Ms. Jenni!

Listening

Listening comprehension comes before reading comprehension. You can help your child practice listening skills by reading to them, talking to them, telling them stories, checking out a book on tape/CD or a PlayAway from the library, or having them listen to a phone story.
Phone Stories:

Phone-A-Story 720-865-8500 (available in Spanish)
Dial-A-Story 303-795-3960

Homework
Reading ~ Read a good book or two.
Math ~ Home Link 8.5 Making Change

Library
No library tomorrow because the library is being used for PARCC testing. Your child can still return any library books that he or she has finished reading.
