What Does Ms. Wendy Do All Day?

We are so lucky to have Ms. Wendy as our instructional assistant. Besides being very kind, she helps us learn so many things. Ms. Wendy does reading, writing and math groups for different groups for different reasons. She works on skills that need extra practice or she provides enrichment for those kids who need that. She often works one on one with students to do various things like practicing sight words or reteaching a missed skill. She manages our Exploration Stations while I teach reading groups. She teaches us to use sign language to spell our sight words and to learn other signs and words. She organizes our library visits so we can check out new books. She supervises three recesses a day including recesses for other grade levels. She is our general "go to" gal for many, many things and we couldn't make it through the day without her.

Homework ~ Read a good book or two. Check out a Bedtime Math story.
